A few words about your future destination

Para bailar la Bamba, para bailar la bamba, se necesita una poca de gracia
Travelling in Mexico also means travelling through the maracas, the swaying and the music that moves between folklore and percussions. The warmth of the Mexicans reflects the country's temperatures: muy caliente.
If it is easy to see Mexico as a country of festivals and festivities (we only have to think of El Dia de los Muertos), it is above all a country of various beautiful landscapes and steeped in history. Between ruins, luxuriant nature, paradisiacal beaches, caves, jungles, volcanoes... Mexico is a wonder of nature to explore and counts no less than 35 cultural and natural sites registered with the inheritance of Humanity by UNESCO.
Numerous populations have succeeded one another: the Olmecs, the Toltecs, the Zapotecs, the Mayas, the Aztecs, and today the country is full of vestiges to lead us in the footsteps of its History. Incredible Mayan and archaeological sites can be visited, to name but a few: Coba, El Tajin, the pre-Hispanic city of Teotihuacan, Tulum.
The Yucatan peninsula offers a real treasure trove of archaeological sites of the Mayan civilization such as Chicken Itza, the pyramid of Kuklcan or the site of Calakmul, but also jewels of beauty with its numerous cenotes, wells of crystalline water such as the famous Ik Kil, its jungles and its tropical forests
Bordered by the Gulf of Mexico, the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, magnificent beaches are to be found here and it is easy to relax in Playa Del Carmen. In the north, you'll see more arid deserts. The Chihuahua desert is the richest in terms of biodiversity and it is in this desert that you will have the chance to see the part listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO: the archaeological area of Paquimé. Imagine 146 hectares of pre-Columbian civilisation remains...

Palenque, a Mayan city in the Mexican state of Chiapas, is one of the most impressive ceremonial centres of the early Mayan Empire and a must-see on your trip.
The Archipelago of Revillagigedo, only accessible by boat, is composed of 4 uninhabited islands and offers a preserved ecosystem and volcanic landscape.

Diving enthusiasts will be conquered by what is called the World Aquarium: the Islands and Protected Areas of the Gulf of California, home to 39% of the Earth's total number of marine mammal species. This site offers a spectacular landscape with its high cliffs, sandy beaches and turquoise waters.

The capital, Mexico City, is full of museums, temples, cathedrals and majestic palaces. Don't miss the floating gardens of Xochimilco, a legacy of the Aztecs. You'll also find the pre-Hispanic city of Teotihuacan, which contains some of the largest Mesoamerican pyramids ever built in pre-Columbian America.
And because your trip to Mexico is also a culinary journey, you can enjoy tacos, ceviches, quesadillas, burritos... with or without a margarita... Salud!
