A few words about your future destination

Fiji is a tropical island that invites you to travel and relax on white sandy beaches lined with palm trees and turquoise waters. Fiji's 333 islands are surrounded by mangroves, forests and coral and volcanic islets.
The two main islands with the largest population are Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.
On Viti Levu, you will find Suva, the capital and port city of English colonial style. You can visit the Fiji Museum, located in Thurston Gardens, which houses a collection of archaeological artefacts, some dating back 3,700 years. Nature lovers can venture into the rainforests of the Colo-I-Suva Nature Reserve where you can discover Fiji's flora and fauna and swim in the waterfalls.
Still on the island of Viti Levu, Nadi is home to many gems of discovery. Here you will find the Sri Siva Subramaniya Swami Hindu temple, which bears witness to Fiji's large Indian population, due to heavy Indian immigration in the past. Its Dravidian architecture with Hindu engravings and deities and its many colours will dazzle you. You can visit it and even attend religious ceremonies if you feel like it (useful tip: make sure you haven't eaten meat that day to enter this place!) Don't miss the Sleeping Giant Garden, which has over 2,000 species of orchids and beautiful landscaped walking trails. You can also stop at the Sabeto mud baths for a mineral-rich dip and then rinse off in the clear waters of a thermal spring.

On the island of Vanua Levu, you will discover the Flora botanical garden which covers more than 300 species of palm trees and a multitude of tropical flowers, not to mention protected and endemic species. You will be taken on a sumptuous course in a luxuriant nature overlooking the Savusavu bay. For a little more fun, head to Waitavala, a real natural waterslide! Safe for young and old alike. 😊

The Sawa-I-Lau caves are a must-see if you push on to the Yasawa Archipelago, a mystical place in the heart of the Yasawa volcanic complex. You will discover a preserved paradise where a series of engravings and paintings are still visible, although they cannot be deciphered.
Don't hesitate to get lost on the neighbouring archipelago of Mamanuca. Of volcanic origin, its small islands are bordered by some of the most beautiful beaches in Fiji. The snorkelling is breathtaking, with coral, fish and sharks, and there is something for everyone, from the more experienced to the less adventurous.
Fiji's wild beauty is an invitation to travel.
